- Tuesday 26th January 1-5pm, Australia Day Pool Party. If you’re searching for a vibrant way to spend Australia Day then head on down to The Rocks for their Pool Party. Take a dip in the pool, and soak up those Whitsunday views whilst listening to some awesome tunes by their live DJ. Grab your floaties… This is going to a be a big one! $20 Per Person if you prebook via whitsundaytickets.com.au $25 on the door (subject to availability)

- 2 May, Hamilton Island Hilly Half Marathon. Part of the Hamilton Island Endurance Series, which runs events throughout the year, the challenging Hamilton Island Hilly Half Marathon follows roads, fire trails and walking tracks through Hamilton Island’s undulating interior.
- 29 and 30 May, White on Whitehaven long lunch. Enjoy a spectacular long lunch on one of Australia’s most iconic beaches, Whitehaven Beach. An unforgettable experience, exquisite food and a stunning backdrop make the White on Whitehaven long lunch a must do on your calendar this year.
- 29 May, Cruisin Whitsunday Show and Shine Car Show. A weekend of cars and fun in the beautiful Whitsundays. Come down to The Gardens at Coral Sea Marina for the annual Cruisin Whitsunday Show and Shine display event. Enjoy a fun-filled day of classic cars on display, whilst enjoying great marina views!
June

- 18 and 19th June, Annual Proserpine Show (show Whitsunday). While you are in the Whitsundays, why not enjoy an old fashioned country show? The Proserpine show starts at Lunch time Friday and finishes 6pm Saturday. Events include horse and cattle shows, poultry judging, sideshow alley, fireworks, wood chopping, a baby animal farm amongst many more things. - 27 June, The Great Whitehaven Beach Run. Part of the Hamilton Island Endurance Series, which runs events throughout the year. Challenge yourself to a half marathon, or a 10km or 5km run along the spectacular length of Whitehaven Beach.
July

- 17-18 July, Airlie Beach Marathon Festival. The 8th Airlie Beach Marathon Festival will be held on the weekend of 17th and 18th of July 2021. All races will be held along the Airlie Beach and Cannonvale foreshores and cater for ages 4 and up.
August

- 5-8 August, Great Barrier Reef Festival. Celebrating the Whitsundays’ lifestyle and the communities at the heart of the Great Barrier Reef, the festival spreads over four days annually. It is a combination of family fun, community events, live music, food, fireworks and is one of the biggest parties in the north.
- 12-19 August, Airlie Beach Race Week, Festival of sailing. Six days of offshore yacht racing with seven nights of socialising & entertainment, mixed with fun & excitement.
- 21-28 August, Hamilton Island Race Week. Every August, spectators and yachties from around the globe sail to Hamilton Island for Hamilton Island Race Week – Australia’s largest offshore keelboat regatta.
September

- 11-12 September, Whitsunday Trail Festival. The Whitsunday Trail Festival takes you on a journey through Conway National Park, with categories for all abilities of all ages.
- 17-19 September, Whitsunday Arts Festival. This three-day celebration of art promotes the wonders of the Whitsunday Region. It welcomes festival goers to experience fun and interactive, vibrant and energetic arts events. The Whitsundays comes to life with sights, sounds and tastes in the form of sculptures, fine arts, live music, theatre and parades and art markets.

- 5-7 November, Airlie Beach Festival Of Music. Fast becoming one of Queensland’s premier live music events -only in Airlie Beach can you see 74 bands alongside 74 islands in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef. With jaw-dropping sea views from the main tent at the Whitsunday Sailing Club, it’s a party like no other in a tropical paradise. Watch big name acts and discover new talent, with live entertainment spread throughout 18 venues, the atmosphere is electric.
- 13 November, Hamilton Island Triathlon. Part of the Hamilton Island Endurance Series. The ultimate test of endurance in one of Australia’s most beautiful locations including a unique ride circuit along the airport runway.
- 14 November, Hamilton Island Ocean Swim. Part of the Hamilton Island Endurance Series. Compete in one of Australia’s most picturesque ocean swims.
